  1. These submission guidelines conflict with the guidelines I saw when I was composing my email: http://www.brenda-drake.com/2013/09/exciting-new-contest-details/
Note that on Brenda's blog, it says to put "Genre, Sub-genre, Title, Wordcount" in the subject line. NA, YA, and Adult are not genres.

    1. Hey Robert-- Thanks for the info. Brenda, Dannie, and I are doing our best to coordinate with one another in order to facilitate the contest. Sometimes things don't always go as smoothly as we'd like. I wouldn't worry about your submission pitch--it loos like Brenda had all the important details posted on the site you linked. So as long as you have included all of the details that we need, then you're in the contest! I try to keep things as easy going as possible. If you feel you need to re-send, please do so before 9 PM EST today.

    1. Hi Kelly. I'm so sorry, but you've already missed the contest submission window. It was yesterday from 9 AM-9 PM EST. All of the contest information has been posted on my blog over the past 6 weeks (above where it says 'Answer to Question 1 and 2,' you'll find a hyperlink the the original blog post. Or if you wanted, you could also scroll back through my blog for the details. Maybe next year?!

  3. I sent my submission yesterday before I saw this (I was gone all day and prepared the email the night before based off the original TOTWAA post). I didn't include my contact email and my answers to the questions 1 and 2 were a sentence too long. Is this going to be a break or make deal? I'm really hoping not.

    Thanks!

    1. We are not holding the question answer length against anyone. If you make it to the final round and your answer is too long, we will contact you (from the email you used) about shortening it. So don't stress!
